These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the House of Waterproofing website and the waterproofing services we provide. By using our website or engaging us for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

House of Waterproofing is a technology-driven waterproofing company based in India, serving Bangalore & Hyderabad. References to "we," "our," or "us" mean House of Waterproofing.

1. Services

House of Waterproofing provides professional waterproofing inspection, treatment, and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Thermal imaging and moisture assessment inspections
• Terrace and roof waterproofing
• Bathroom waterproofing (with and without tile removal)
• External wall waterproofing treatment
• Basement and foundation waterproofing
• Expansion joint sealing
• Cool roof coating application
• Structural crack repair and injection grouting

All services are performed by our trained in-house team using branded, lab-tested materials. We do not sub-contract any work to third-party labour.

2. Quotes & Pricing

After an initial inspection of your property, we provide a detailed written quote that includes the scope of work, materials to be used, estimated timeline, and the total cost.

• Quote validity: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After 30 days, the quote may be subject to revision based on material costs or changes in project scope.
• Final pricing: The price stated in your accepted quote is the final price. We do not add hidden charges, service fees, or surprise line items during or after the project. What we quote is what you pay.
• Scope changes: If additional work is discovered during the project (for example, concealed damage not visible during the initial inspection), we will inform you immediately and provide a revised quote for the additional work. No extra work will be performed without your written or verbal approval.

3. Warranty Terms

All waterproofing treatments performed by House of Waterproofing come with a 5-year written warranty covering both materials and workmanship. The warranty is a legally binding document, not a verbal promise.

• The warranty covers leakage recurrence, membrane failure, material degradation, sealant failure, and workmanship defects in the treated areas.
• The warranty period begins from the date of project completion as stated in your warranty certificate.
• Warranty claims are handled free of charge — including re-inspection and repair.
• The warranty is transferable to a new property owner for the remaining warranty period.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed upon before any work begins, and are clearly outlined in your project quote. Our standard payment structure is as follows:

• Advance payment: A portion of the total cost is payable before work commences, as agreed in the quote.
• Progress payment: For larger projects, a mid-project payment may be scheduled upon completion of a defined milestone.
• Final payment: The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the project, after you have reviewed and approved the work.

All payments are accepted via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) or UPI. We do not accept cash payments for documentation and transparency purposes. A receipt and invoice with GST details will be provided for every payment.

5. Cancellation

We believe in a pressure-free experience. Our cancellation policy is straightforward:

• Before work begins: You are free to cancel at any time before work commences on your property. There are no cancellation fees, penalties, or charges of any kind.
• After work has started: If you wish to cancel after work has begun, you will only be charged for the work already completed and materials already used. We will provide a clear breakdown of the costs incurred.
• Refunds: Any advance payment for work not yet performed will be refunded in full within 7 business days of cancellation.

6. Liability

House of Waterproofing is committed to delivering high-quality waterproofing services using branded materials and trained professionals. However, the following limitations apply:

• Our liability is limited to the scope of work defined in the accepted quote and warranty certificate. We are not responsible for pre-existing structural defects, building settlement, or damage caused by factors outside our control such as natural disasters, flooding, or unauthorised modifications to the treated areas.
• In the event of a valid warranty claim, our obligation is to repair or re-treat the affected area at no additional cost. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of property value, business interruption, or damage to personal belongings, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes:

• The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
• For existing customers with active projects or warranties, any changes to these Terms will not affect the terms agreed upon in your signed quote or warranty certificate.
• We encourage you to review this page periodically. The latest version of these Terms, as published on this page, is the version that applies.
